Big Sky Resort is nestled in the Rocky Mountains of southwest Montana. Located 45 miles south of Bozeman on Highway 191 and 47 miles north of West Yellowstone on the same highway, the scenic drive to Big Sky is one not to be missed. If you're coming by air, Northwest, Delta/SkyWest, Horizon/Alaska, United and Frontier all fly into Gallatin Field Airport in Belgrade, the servicing airport to Big Sky. Rental cars, shuttles and taxis can be utilized during both seasons.
Big Sky is situated between two units of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, the Gallatin National Forest and Yellowstone National Park. The border of Yellowstone is just 18 miles south. At the base of Lone Mountain, the Big Sky Village is 9 miles west of Highway 191.
